Stakeholder seminar

The seminar was attended by PADA's ex-Chairman Paul Myners, Chief Executive Tim Jones and Non-Executive Director Jeannie Drake as well as a number of stakeholders from the pensions industry, consumer representative organisations and employer groups.

To initiate a full and frank discussion of all the issues presentations were made by Tim Jones and three of PADA's stakeholders; Chris Curry of the Pensions Policy Institute, Helen White from the Association of British Insurers, and Dominic Lindley from Which?

In closing Paul Myners remarked that the seminar suggested that the PADA will need to balance complex issues of fairness and sustainability to come to a recommendation, and will need to think carefully about the way in which a charging structure is communicated as well as the impact on the wider pensions market.
